Winter by Marissa Meyer

Princess Winter is admired by the Lunar people for her grace and kindness, and despite the scars that mark her face, her beauty is said to be even more breathtaking than that of her stepmother, Queen Levana.

Winter despises her stepmother and knows Levana won’t approve of her feelings for her childhood friend–the handsome palace guard, Jacin. But Winter isn’t as weak as Levana believes her to be and she’s been undermining her stepmother’s wishes for years. Together with the cyborg mechanic, Cinder, and her allies, Winter might even have the power to launch a revolution and win a war that’s been raging for far too long.

Can Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, and Winter defeat Levana and find their happily ever afters? Fans will not want to miss this thrilling conclusion to Marissa Meyer’s national bestselling Lunar Chronicles series.

“Broken isn’t the same as unfixable.”

THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING! Winter by Marissa Meyer was exactly what you would want from a series finale–epic, intense, emotional, and overall satisfying!

Everyone got their happily ever after (Except for Levana of course).  Often the last book of a good series is a let-down. Yet, Marissa Meyer never fails, this book had it all: suspense, romance, and diversity. I also loved the message of girl power, and feminism.

Just like with the previous books, I loved the world, the characters, the story, and the writing. There was great world-building and character-depth.This is one of my favorite series of all time, and I’m so so happy with this beautiful conclusion!

If you like sci-fi, fairy tale retellings, or you just want to read an epic & satisfying series–YOU NEED THE LUNAR CHRONICLES IN YOUR LIFE!

I am very thankful for Marissa Meyer writing The Lunar Chronicles. Every single book was an amazing read and I can’t wait for her new projects.
